Yoga
When shooting Yoga, a ‘perfect instant’ must be caught: During this moment, body dynamics, the practitioner or model’s sense of exaltation, setting, light and contrast combine and coalesce to product effective, engaging and refreshing photography. This sport, or rejuvenating practice–along with the plethora of new and unique clothing and yoga-wear lines it has inspired–allow for vast photographic, marketing, and advertising possibilities. From 6am photo shoots on Lake Ontario, to winter Yoga shots in a snow-white forest or on rocky and crested terrain, the relaxing, motivational and athletic aspects of Yoga have allowed me, as a photographer, to draw on landscapes and settings that provide new and thrilling outlooks.
Woodland
Costa Rica: A land of verdant foliage and oceanic beauty. Called upon by India’s Woodland International to organize this shoot, Foto-Studio.com obtained the necessary permits, Costa Rican models and props to make this assignment a success. Lasting from sunrise to sunset, this shoot ranged in location from suspension bridges in the jungle to sandy beaches and private luxury yachts.
From Phoenix to Flagstaff, Arizona’s arid, red-hued vistas and ghost towns formed the background of our summer-look, follow-up shoot with Woodland. As always, Foto-Studio.com organized all aspects of the shoot—which encompassed commercial (video) and still photography—including the U.S. models, permits and props, and provided all photographic equipment and creative design.
